We just got back from our BEST vacation ever!  We have three children ages 9,8 and 4 and
had a wonderful time staying at Pine Crest.  The cabin and grounds were more beautiful
then we could have imagined.  It rained the first days but who cared as the covered porch
allowed us to listen to the rain while hanging out in the hot tub!  It was great!   We had a daily
visit from our loud beautiful bird friend that promptly sang a unique bird call each night between
9 and 9:15 once the sun was down.  He again was back to sing more at 5:30 at Dawn to wake us up. 
I would love to know what type of bird it is as the call was so distinct and neat.
Anyway, we plan to return again and again and tell everyone we know about our experience.  
Well done to all of you Jan and (sorry I forget the other womans name) was so helpful and wonderful. 
You all have a great place and we are so appreciative!

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Thompson,
Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful cabin with us this past weekend.
We didn't know anyone who had previously stayed with you, and since we
learned of your cabins on line, we had no idea what to expect.
What a great surprise and how nice!
Everything turned out to be better than we could have hoped for.
A wonderful, serene location which gave us a weekend of carefree rest and fun.
How nice to be so secluded. We can only imagine how much more secluded it
would be with the greenery on all of the trees and vegetation.
The amenities were just right. The kitchen was better equipped than we imagined.
The grill was put to good use, and it was nice ya'll had a thermometer outside
so we could see the temperature. Especially nice since we had a little
ice Saturday morning. The stone fire place was great too. (thanks for the
big plastic bucket to carry wood and also the gloves...a nice touch).
We kept a fire going almost the entire weekend. A great supply of wood
and a never ending supply of kindling. The individual heat controls in some
of the rooms was really nice. The swing on the porch was nice too. (even in the winter)
It was helpful to have all of the brochures regarding nearby attractions
as well as the notebook with so much useful information.
We enjoyed driving the Parkway (even with the detour) and really enjoyed
(unexpectedly) driving past the entrance to the cabins on Falls Creek Road.
The drive up past Yellow Hill Baptist Church was beautiful.
I am not sure we could come up with any negatives about our stay.
Having been in the middle of winter, we are curious and looking forward to
revisiting in the spring or summer soon. In any case, we will return and
would recommend your cabins to anyone.

Having recently been a guest at Creekside Overlook I must say this was a most wonderful retreat!

The only flaw I found was that I was required to leave!

great time we had this past week at Creekside
Overlook. It was the first vacation we have had in a
couple of years and we were really ready to relax and
have peace and quiet! Your cabins and your location

reluctantly left the cool nights and mornings to come

I have to say,
I have never found a site that lives up to all my expectations.
UNTIL NOW!!!!!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Serenity Ridge.
The cabin was rustic yet very modern in appliances,
bathroom fixtures and and other amenities.
The bed had a comfortable mattress.
The hot tub was ready for us when we arrived.
I would recommend Serenity Ridge to anyone
who is looking for the perfect getaway.

The stop was the last one of a week's vacation in which my wife and I drove up to Charlottesville, VA,
toured several historic sites and small towns, then came down the Parkway to FCC.

but were very disappointed to read that no animals are allowed at your facility.
That is perfectly understandable. Irresponsible pet owners are all too common.

We have a small dog (chihuahua/jack russel terrior mix) that truly is the "baby" of the family.
